About Us

Jean and I are a team in life, photography and video production.  We bring our own experiences to our work and we create images that are some wonderful blending of both of us. 

​We are from the Midwest: Jean is from Illinois, I am from Indiana.  We are both Hallmark Channel addicts (especially at Christmas time) and we are both amazed at how someone can flip a house in 30 minutes on HGTV.  I can't find a hammer in 30 minutes. 

Our favorite trip was Grand Cayman... where Jean was certified in SCUBA in 2004.  I was certified in 1993 in a cold natural spring in Ponce deLeon, Florida.  Brrrr....

I will not go on and on about our business here.  There's plenty about our business elsewhere on the site.  The captured memories in the Gallery?  We created those.

What I will mention is the fact that I am a Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographers of America.

It is an earned honor - a professional status that is not handed to everyone.  It is earned through tests and proof of performance. 

Why is that significant?  Why does it matter?  Why isn't every photographer certified?
